REVIEWS:
“Block 1, inter-planted Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Ugni blanc, Carignan and Roussanne. Shallow sandy site on a sandstone ridge. Picked as a homologous parcel, 12 days on skins in concrete, pressed to neutral 700l oak for 11 month.” What a mad fucker this bloke is. and guess what, it all worked out fine.

Raspberry, cranberry, a whole lot of musk, and spiced strawberry, aniseed, and mint and cardamon pods and all the things. It’s light to medium-bodied, has a raspberry sweetness and musky crunch, white pepper tannin, peanut and a bit of a dirty thing happening, but it’s a nice dirty thing, and it’s gently bitter, and the finish is all orange peel and amaro twist. A beautiful mad house, is my reading. Unique.
